The ins and outs of Madonna's relationships

Madonna is very sensitive, cautious, and shy about showing others her feelings. Though she may love and care for someone a great deal, she rarely express those feelings openly and freely. Very often her love for someone will be expressed by trying to help them, doing something tangible to benefit them, or serving them in some way.

It is also difficult for Madonna to receive warmth, affection, or appreciation, for she often feel that she does not really deserve it or that "they don't really mean it". She can therefore seem rather cool and aloof, much more so than she feel.

She shares freely whatever she has, and her friends know they can always count on her generosity and support, both emotional and material. Madonna's good-hearted acceptance and tolerance of others' foibles goes a long way in maintaining harmony in her relationships. She also has a lazy streak and sometimes avoid confronting difficult issues in relationships simply because it seems like too much trouble and too petty.
