Unique Venues of London Quiz NightBy: Libertines, Sat Dec 10th, 2005 12:43:30 AM The annual UVL quiz night was this year hosted at the magnificent Gibson Hall, located in the heart of the city and was well attended by over 100 of its members. 18 teams were put through their paces by the nominated quiz master, Bryan Ribbans of Piggotts Company (suppliers of hospitality marquees, flags/banners, Christmas lighting and furniture). Supper was provided by Crown Venue Catering, Gibson Hall's inhouse caterers and accompanying wines by Revelstoke. (Article continued below)
Eclipse Presentations came to our aid by sponsoring all audio visual and music throughout the evening was provided by New London Orchestra, who entertained guests with International Award Winners, Voces Cantabiles. Third prize went to the Natural History Museum, second prize to Kew Bridge Steam Museum and congratulations to the winning team, Southwark Cathedral who won 5 tickets to the Royal Albert Hall Christmas concert. All proceeds from the quiz night were raised for the Terrence Higgins Trust.
