How companies are fighting spyware together.By: Mitch Johnson, Thu Dec 8th, 2005 09:07:29 PM To increase consumer's internet security and provide an all around security kit Microsoft partnered up with OPSWAT Inc. to develop and integration of the two companies software. Their goal of working together is to provide security solutions for both Microsoft and OPSWAT customers so they are protected against a wide span of malicious software. By working together OPSWAT will develop an Endpoint Security kit for Microsoft's Network Access Protection. The outcome will allow the two companies mutual customers to integrate the security capabilities of OPSWAT's software with those of Windows. This will allow consumers to choose their security components while still have a single security solution. Officials from OPSWAT have said that their Endpoint security kit provides a uniform interface for consumers, which is a relief from innumerable choices of other firewall, anti-virus and anti-spyware programs which can become hard to manage.
