adsense may be a scam in itself !!!By: Rick Horvath - noodleware.com, Thu Dec 8th, 2005 09:07:34 PM After getting thrown off Google adsense after only 1 month, and earning ~ $144.00 which I will never see, I am beginning to think that adsense in itself is a SCAM. I have spoken to other web designers such as myself and have heard similar stories. First off, there is no way to contact the adsense dept. by phone, only through email. I did speak to a customer rep for adwords at 1-866-246-6453. She told me she would send an email to adsense tech. I told her I was pausing all my adwords campaigns until I got a clear reason as to why my adsense account was stopped and also because I fear the bugs have not been worked out yet. As a programmer I do click on every link provided by adsense. This is for the benefit of my clients, in order for me to see their competition and better design their sites. The adsense programming should understand this and not penalize me for it. (Article continued below)
Adding adsense to a page also helps in creating dynamic content, which helps rank pages better. It also provides relevant links even at the risk of someone leaving the site altogether. So what happens to me now? I have generated money for Google and now they won't pay me my share! It may well be time to take legal action as so many people are now doing. Be careful if you do sign up for adsense - you may get adscrewed in the end! About the author: Rick Horvath has been programming on computers for over 20 years.
