Change your luck!By: Kenia Morales, Thu Dec 8th, 2005 10:45:30 PM There are many people out there that believe in luck. As soon as they hear that someone has made an accomplishment in their life they will comment, "he/she is so lucky." I on the other hand think other wise. What does luck have to do with anything? A great example of this would be my friend that plays the lottery wins the prize one day. I may think at a certain moment she is so lucky! However, if we examine closely she won because she plays the lottery. She makes an effort weekly and overlooks the chances of losing. While I in the other hand, choose not to play the lotto because I dislike taking unmeasured risks. I can not account my friends winnings totally to good fortune, even if she was the winner from millions of other people. From the beginning she understood it would not be certain that she was going to win but still decided to invest her money week after week in the lottery game. So, why is it so surprising if one day she wins? Now, it would be surprising if I win the lotto, I do not play at all. The bottom line is that our actions bring consequences and depending on what you do you will reap the fruits. So, if your everyday actions lead to nothing positive you will get negative consequences. An example of this would be a teen that skips schools will fail. In the other hand, if the teen applies to his studies then he will pass with outstanding grades and possibly acquire a grant. All this thanks to his academic excellence. (Article continued below)
