Should You Upgrade To Microsoft FrontPage 2003?

If you are a FrontPage user, you may have seen the advances made in newer versions.

As FrontPage 2002 was a huge improvement over FrontPage 2000, FrontPage 2003 raises the bar even higher.

If you haven't upgraded to 2003 yet, this article may spur you to action.

Let's review a few reasons why Microsoft FrontPage 2003 rocks:

One of the most spectacular features in FrontPage 2003 is the build in button generator.

You can literally pick from over 200 ready made, ready-to-go buttons which can enhance your webpages.

If you haven't seen samples of these yet, you can find them at http://www.frontpagevideos. com (see the top of the webpage)

While these buttons look pretty good, they are only one of over 150 types and colors of buttons you can create with just 3 or 4 clicks!

These buttons are super easy to create and easy to integrate into your websites!

This alone is worth the upgrade cost!

I remember all the hours I spent trying to create my own buttons...what a waste of time!

These built in buttons are better and 100x easier to use.

Unlike other graphics programs, where you first have to design the buttons, then add in the different 'states' (one state for hovered mouse, one state for clicked etc...) FrontPage does it all for you.

I held off on upgrading to FrontPage 2003 for a while, but when I found this feature alone, I was very pleased at the possibilities.

There is much more to FrontPage 2003, such as an improved guestbook system, more options for FTP'ing files to your web server, and option to get rid of annoying default meta tags, and much more.

In some cases, it is worth the effort to get off your butt and get a software upgrade.

Microsoft FrontPage 2003 is one of these cases.
