Removing Bubbles in Wallpaper

By: S Callender, Fri Dec 9th, 2005 09:39:09 PM

A great tip for removing bubbles in wallpaper is to use a very sharp craft or utility knife and make a small cut on the side of the bubble.

Before you make the cut, keep in mind the cut should only be about ¼ inch in length and should follow the curved edge of the bubble.

Next, using a syringe (available for purchase at most drugstores - without needles), fill the syringe with normal white craft glue.

(Article continued below)

Insert just the tip of the syringe into the bubble where you made your cut.

Now, inject the bubble with the glue. Important - It will take only a small amount so don't force too much into the area.

Next, using a wallpaper seam roller or similar tool (like a dough roller), roll over the bubble to squeeze out the excess glue from the cut.

Using a cloth damp with warm water, wipe away the excess glue.
